Domaine Hudelot Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge “Les Colombières” is a classic expression of Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir from the organic vineyards of Domaine Patrick Hudelot, perched just west of the famed Côte de Nuits escarpment. Sourced from older vines planted on clay-limestone and marl soils, this wine undergoes natural fermentation with gentle punch-downs and is aged in stainless steel to preserve purity of fruit and clarity of expression. In the glass it shows a glistening ruby hue with bright aromas of raspberry, redcurrant and subtle floral notes, framed by earthy undertones that speak to its cool Burgundy terroir. The palate is lively and approachable, offering juicy red fruit, soft, silky tannins and refreshing acidity; a Pinot that balances elegance with rustic charm and pairs beautifully with a range of foods from roasted poultry to charcuterie.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

The first vines of the Domaine Hudelot were planted in the early 1950s. It
was expanded during the 1960s and today, has just over 20 hectares of
vines in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits appellation.
